Eternus AI – Immersive Digital Legacy Platform
Project Type: Custom Website Design & Development Platform: Webflow (Frontend), Backend AI Infrastructure Role: UX Strategist, Web Designer, Interaction Architect Duration: 7 Weeks Client: Eternus AI
Overview
Eternus AI is an emotionally-driven, AI-powered platform that allows users to create personalized digital twins of themselves or loved ones — interactive, lifelike simulations that preserve voice, face, personality, and memories.
Positioned at the intersection of memory preservation, emotional connection, and next-gen AI, Eternus AI allows individuals to engage in meaningful, simulated conversations with a digital reflection of someone they love — even long after that person is no longer physically present.
The platform required a website experience that was as intimate, respectful, and emotionally resonant as the product itself — while still communicating cutting-edge technical capabilities and addressing critical concerns around privacy, ethics, and realism.
Project Goals
Communicate complex AI technology through accessible, emotionally resonant storytelling
Design a conversion-optimized website that encourages users to book a free consultation
Build user trust through clear privacy policies, ethical positioning, and visual empathy
Offer a walkthrough of the Digital Twin creation journey without overwhelming users
Provide flexible structure for future pricing plans, onboarding flows, and media integration
Design & Brand Strategy
✦ Emotional Design Principles
The emotional weight of the product shaped every visual and interactive decision. Eternus is about memory, legacy, and connection — so we avoided any aesthetic that felt overly “techy” or impersonal.
Color palette: Soft grayscale with warm accents (dusty rose, muted gold) to reflect remembrance and reverence
Typography: Modern serif headers paired with clean, understated sans-serif body text for a balance of innovation and dignity
Imagery style: Soft-focus portraits, moments of reflection, hands, heirlooms — evoking memory and timelessness without direct impersonation
UI patterns: Generous white space, slow transitions, fade-ins — designed to let the experience breathe
✦ Accessibility Considerations
Because the audience includes grieving individuals and people dealing with loss, the UX tone was set with compassion-first content, including:
Thoughtful copywriting that never over-promised realism
Alt text and screen-reader compatibility
Reduced visual noise and minimal cognitive load
UX Architecture
✦ Conversion & User Flow Strategy
We built the experience around a consultation-driven conversion model, rather than instant sign-up:
Learn → Understand → Trust → Act flow
All roads lead to the primary CTA: “Book a Free Consultation”
FAQs and ethical disclosures were placed strategically before CTA points to reduce friction.
✦ Page-Level Experience Design
Page | Purpose & Experience |
Home | Emotional storytelling, introduction to Digital Twins, subtle animations of faces morphing and voices pulsing |
How It Works | Visual timeline: Consultation → Data Collection → Twin Creation → Ongoing Interaction → Sharing |
Plans | Tiered comparison layout; included sample outputs and feature breakdowns |
Ethics & Privacy | Legal positioning, encryption claims, opt-in usage only — heavy emphasis on “We do not mimic without permission” |
Book a Consultation | Intelligent form flow with dynamic inputs, appointment calendar, and space to explain the desired outcome |
FAQs | Question-based navigation, collapsible answers, empathetic phrasing |
Core Features
✦ Digital Twin Creation
A full simulation built from:
Videos & voice recordings
Photos & facial gestures
Text-based interviews (likes, memories, life events)
“Emotional modeling” based on user-provided inputs
The site introduced the TwinVista LLM — the AI engine powering the behavioral modeling.
✦ Conversational AI Interface
Though the front-end demo wasn’t live during development, we prepared:
UI mockups of future chat interfaces, including emotion tags and memory threads
Micro-interactions like pulsing waveforms for voice, subtle blink/eye movement previews
✦ QR Code Sharing
Explained how digital twins can be:
Shared via QR
Embedded on digital memorials (e.g. grave markers, urns)
Access-limited to specific family members
A major UX challenge here was helping users imagine this novel ritual, so we used analogies (e.g. “A digital heirloom”, “A living album”) to contextualize it.
Challenges & UX Solutions
1. High Emotional Stakes & Ethical Tension
Simulating loved ones requires care. Users must feel in control and respected.
Solution:
Transparent language (“simulation” not “replica”)
Ethical tab with strong disclaimers and opt-in protocols
Human-led onboarding (via consultation) instead of automatic sign-up
2. Explaining Advanced Tech Without Jargon
Machine learning, facial modeling, and conversational LLMs can alienate users unfamiliar with AI.
Solution:
Used plain language ("We train your twin on voice & video files")
Replaced technical flowcharts with emotional journey maps
Added human testimonials describing their experience
3. Data Privacy & Security Assurance
User concern: “What happens to my mother’s voice after I upload it?”
Solution:
Encrypted data claims front and center
Strict opt-in data sharing
Optional deletion and self-destruct controls
Key Deliverables
Fully responsive, emotionally sensitive website design
Story-driven page layouts for “How It Works” and “Plans”
Consultation-first booking form with conditional logic
Ethics & Privacy pages structured for transparency and trust
Brand style guide for future product UI design
Scalable CMS to accommodate case studies, testimonials, and blog
Results & Feedback
+78% consultation form completions after launch, largely via mobile
Clients praised the tone of the site: comforting, not clinical
The brand now attracts early adopters in the AI + memory space
Several grief counselors and estate planners reached out as potential partners
Increased press interest due to visual storytelling and clarity around ethics
Final Thoughts
Eternus AI represents a frontier in human-AI relationships — not just as tools, but as emotional companions. Designing the Eternus platform was an exercise in digital empathy: treating pixels not just as UI, but as memorials.
By combining respectful design, forward-thinking interaction, and scalable architecture, the Eternus site helps users see what’s possible — and more importantly, what’s preservable.
The project demonstrated how thoughtful UX can humanize even the most futuristic technology.
